About
About
My work sits at the intersection of educational technology (EdTech), learning design, and education policy, shaped by over a decade of experience across the finance, health, and education sectors. I am especially interested in how emerging technologies—particularly artificial intelligence—reshape learning, equity, and educational systems, and how policy and practice can be better aligned in this process.
Across these sectors, I design innovative learning solutions and provide strategic consultation for educational technology initiatives. My work is deeply rooted in research on user experiences and perceptions, ensuring that the solutions I develop are engaging, equitable, and effective.
At the heart of my work is a belief in the power of education to foster human development and well-being, and a dedication to ensuring that technological advancements in education are used to their fullest potential to benefit all learners. This commitment drives me to continually explore, experiment, and contribute to the evolving field of educational technology.
I’m also passionate about art and design, which allows me to bring a unique, visually compelling approach to the educational materials I create. My goal is to enhance learning by blending technology, creativity, and strong pedagogical principles.
Education:
My academic pursuits include:
❯ Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership and Policy, University of Toronto, Canada
❯ Master of Education (MEd) in Educational Technology and Learning Design, Simon Fraser University, Canada
❯ Master of Arts (MA) in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, Shahid Beheshti University (formerly the National University of Iran), Iran
❯ Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Language and Literature, University of Tehran, Iran
Creative Explorations:
When I’m not immersed in work, I occasionally trade my laptop for a canvas to explore abstract painting. My practice as an abstract artist informs how I think about learning, perception, and human experience. Painting allows me to explore complexity, ambiguity, and meaning-making, all of which directly shape my work in education, design, and technology. Below are a few of my artistic explorations:
Light After Tide
Stillness Beneath Wings
Echo Through Branches
Radiant After All
